Book Illustration Series

(Junior Project)
(2022)

This project is a set of illustration about the fiction Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close. It tells a story about a young boy Oskar Schell found a mystery key after his father dead in 911; he then started a jouney to find out the answer to the key. The story is mainly about self closure and psychological reconstruction

The project contains eight pieces of artwork painted digitally. With a painterly effect, I try to convey the softness of human heart as well as the hardship of pain and trama.

(The order of the illustration is unrelated to the storytelling)
